For  Native Breed Beef, Lamb and Venison, we love working with Bob and Jane Prentice at Downfield Farm, Fife Scotland. One of the few if not the only farms in Britain to rear and slaughter at their own BRC approved Butchery and Abattoir. We use there, beef, lamb, and venison because we believe it makes the best charcuterie in our business.

“Stuart started working with Bob and Jane not long after Stagison was established and they soon formed a great working union, with Keith and Graham their butchers and with Hayley (as far as we know, the only female slaughterman in Scotland)

Minick of St Andrews produces “Haggison”(Venison Haggis), Venison Blackpudding, venison sausages, various venison pastries, and lots of other added value products. In St Andrews, working with  Blackhorn we launched The ‘StagHorn Burger’ which is proving to be a great success”.
